Adaptive Assessment
Studio.

An experiment in connecting a fixed assessment specification with contexts learners can choose.

The idea

The prototype separates the assessment specification from its presentation. A specification describes the component, intended cognitive demand, provisional difficulty, and scoring rule. A context changes names, objects, and narrative framing.

The interface supports blueprint review, learner context selection, adaptive item selection, and reports that display uncertainty. The goal is to explore personalization while keeping the intended learning visible.

What is available here

The original React source is available to explore and develop. Live question generation and written-response scoring require an authenticated AI service. Those functions are not connected on this static website.

Difficulty values are provisional. Parallel forms, score comparability, and classification accuracy would need empirical validation before classroom assessment use.
